Roman Kohut
Roman is a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC-IRB) and a member in good standing of the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC).
With over 10 years of experience in international education and student services at the University of British Columbia (UBC), New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD), and American Councils for International Education, he brings extensive expertise in supporting diverse global communities.
Roman holds a Graduate Diploma in Immigration and Citizenship Law from Queen’s University and a Master of Education from UBC.
Roman offers a global perspective and a client-centred approach, helping individuals and families navigate their Canadian immigration journey with clarity and confidence.
What motivates Roman most in this work is the opportunity to support people during some of the most important moments of their lives. Behind every application is a person with hopes, sacrifices, fears, and dreams for their future in Canada.
Roman genuinely cares about his clients and the trust they place in him. He understands that immigration processes can feel overwhelming and emotional, especially when someone’s education, family, career, or future stability is involved. He strives to approach every case with compassion, patience, and honesty.
At the same time, he believes it is important to be realistic and transparent with clients. Part of providing ethical support means helping people understand both the opportunities and the challenges in their situation. Roman wants clients to feel supported, informed, and respected throughout the process.

Who is an RCIC-IRB?
An RCIC-IRB is a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant authorized to represent clients before the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada. Roman is licensed by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC), which regulates the profession to ensure high ethical standards and client protection. This designation means Roman is committed to professional competence, offering families and individuals the peace of mind that their case is handled by a strictly regulated and accountable professional.
